Traffic patterns altered at Berea elementary school | Schools

Because of traffic congestion, mainly during drop-off and pick-up times at Grindstone Elementary School on Race Street, Berea city officials have made some changes in traffic flow in the area.

The stop sign at Fair and Hartman streets was moved to Fair and Race streets - one block north. No parking signs were placed on both sides of Race Street near the school.

Parking is now prohibited on the street from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and from 3-4 p.m. Parents may still pick up and drop off their children, but they cannot park and wait.
