The Cuyahoga County Land Bank started on Aug. 17 the demolition of six buildings at the former Williams Ford in Berea. Here are some photos from the event, taken by R.M. Kovacs.

This is the largest project so far for the Land Bank, the year-old corporation formerly known as the Cuyahoga County Land Reutilization Corp. The group has bought more than 200 properties, with the goal of gradually rebuilding them to diminish the amount of distressed properties.
