Jack Frost Festival in Berea | Holiday

All are invited to the Jack Frost Festival and Light Up Berea Parade on Dec. 1. The day's events are divided into two segments.
During the afternoon from 1-3 p.m., children and families can visit Santa in the Gazebo at Coe Lake where there also will be crafts and games, ice sculptures, music, a balloonist and fun characters, like Jack Frost and the Grinch.
Evening events, from 6-8 p.m., are centered on the Triangle in downtown Berea.
The Light Up Berea Parade will step off at at 6 p.m. from the municipal parking lot behind City Hall and conclude down Front Street and past the Triangle.
The Christmas Tree Lighting will follow the parade using a special firework launched from the rooftop of downtown Berea businesses.
The big fireworks display will then begin.
Kids can ride the minature carousel and Ferris Wheel and the Rotary Club of Berea will pass out free cocoa and cookies.
